Guest guest
Hi Ladies, Well, I had my CNM appt this morning. Had to do the 1 hour glucose test. My gosh--can orange flavored " soda " taste ANY worse??? Also had blood drawn for anemia test. She checked my cervix (long, closed, posterior), and the baby's heartrate (140s again). I've gained 4 lbs. this month, for a total of around 22, and blood pressure is totally normal. My uterus is growing fine in my belly. Oh yeah, and baby is head down. She did say though that it doesn't matter till 34 weeks. They still move a lot till then. Well, *I* say let him get used to head down for as long as possible! I have my birth center orientation in two weeks. There we will meet all the midwives, and see the 3 birthing rooms, and ask all our questions about logistics. From now on, I go every 2 weeks. Then, at 36 weeks, I go every week. I hope this kid comes early, cuz going to the CNM every week could get old. Thanks for listening, Jill SU resected

Guest guest
Jill, great update. Keep 'em coming! When I took my glucose test, I took a look at the ingredients on the bottle of orange " soda " - more like orange dye # this and that and sugar and other *crap*. I then wished I hadn't looked - surely they could come up with something a little more healthy for that test! Good kid for staying head down! It's amazing to me that we have come this far. Are you still working/studying? I will be finished work March 28th - I will be 37 weeks - I can't WAIT! Thanks again for the update, SU resected, bicollis,33w3d
