Guest guest
Hi I think I can vouch for this.... I have recently quit taking my Flonase. I really honestly think that it was causing irritability and anxiety (worse than it usually is)... along with depression and and a few pimples on a usually very clear complexion. I felt like I had PMS for weeks solid. I quit and then I really felt like crap. I am in day 4 of stopping this medication. I am starting to feel better.... but having a really hard time sleeping... more than usual. Really strange dreams too..... Anyone else ever had this experience with Flonase? I just kind of assumed this was the cause.... and then i see this email tc jackie Helen Foundation and steroids/prednisone This just throws up all kinds of red flags to me. I am a retired nurse. Steroids can be used for a defined amount of time. They are terrible for your adrenal glands and you can have withdrawl symptoms from them. They can really cause havoc within your body. It may help for a little while, maybe, but when you stop you are going to feel worse most likely. Unless you have like.....a lung disease, transplant rejection or something like that.....lol.......don't stay on them. Just my two cents worth. Lord knows, I don't know everything. I wouldn't do it.... Gwenda C. ... coastal N.C.

I take Flonase and occasionally discontinued it during the winter (some winters I don't need it). I've not noticed any difference in irritability, anxiety or depression, for me. I have to say, when I have taken Prednisone because of my asthma, it is quite different than Flonase. I don't have problems sleeping (ok, I have sleeping problems, but I have a new bad pattern on Prednisone), a desire to eat plenty or any other issue with Flonase, but do with Prednisone. Guest guest
darcy, when i was on prednazone for my asthma I ate a hole chicken by my self and two side dishes in one meal. And I normally eat like a bird. I am only 112 pounds so that tells you how abnormal it was. So I can totally relate to the wanting to eat problem. Did it make you angry? I wanted to kill some one. lol Huggles Re: Helen Foundation and steroids/prednisone ----- Original Message ----- > I have recently quit taking my Flonase.
