wamca: Re Decision on Surgery

To and all. I think this is probably the hardest decision

I've made in my life so far. Speaking only for myself I feel like

this is the best time for me. Most of us from what I can understand

will eventually have to have it. I really don't have any other bad

health problems as so many do. I've had lots of problems thru the

years(40) but not life threatening. I feel like I am as healthy as I

will ever be and so this may be my best chance at a good outcome.When

I found out 1 1/2 Yrs ago I had this I said that I would never never

have that surgery(did anyone ever tell you never to say never!! Ha)2

more syrinx showing up on my mri really scared me. I could probably

put up with some symptoms of the acm a while but from what I can

understand any damage done by the syrinx is pretty much permanent so.

Its tough no matter what a person decides. So if anyone has any

thoughts on this let me hear them!! Hugss Sandy Loges
