Guest guest
I enjoyed following 's TV interviews in promoting the book and was excited when she stressed the importance of dietary intervention, but seven years of reading parents' reports still has me convinced that The Specific Carbohydrate Diet surpasses the GFCF in effectiveness. I was frustrated that McCarthy either is not aware of it or has not mentioned it. The proportionate success rate exceeds GFCF. The diet is not only gluten free, but starch and sugar free and it allows dairy that has been rendered mostly lactose free. Many children are not sensitive to casein and dairy and can tolerate it once the lactose is removed. Other interventions used along with diet help in improving social behavior and eliminating the gastric problems that are also connected with brain function.www.pecanbread.com Carol F.Celiac, MCS, Latex Allergy, EMSSCD 7 years
