Guest guest
I finally got my 6w1d u/s uploaded....the first pix really shows where the baby is implanted and has a good view of the fundal dip on the left of the picture (looks like a slope to the left) It is a pretty deep dip, but nothing like the bunny ears of the textbook UD defintion. The next picture shows both the right (pg) and left (non-pg) uteri with the big black void between them, but you can't see the fundal dip. I know that U/s cannot be used as a good dx tool....but what do you ladies think.....and do you agree that it doesn't look like the baby is implanted on any of the tissue (whether it is myometrium or avascular) between the two uteri? I know I am grasping for answers, but I can't help it. UD
Guest guest
Hi , Well, to me, the baby might have been implanted partially on the " septum " area. The sac is floating in the middle of the horn, from what I see. This actually means that the rudimentary placenta could be either on the fundus, left or right walls. You can't tell just from the sac, I think. But I'm not an u/s tech, however, I'd say you can't rule it out from the u/s. Will you consider chromosome testing on the baby? Because that might give you some answers as to why things happened the way they did. I think another MRI is a great idea. It's unlikely, but good to rule out that you aren't a BU/SU bicollis. Still sending you massive cheeto bags and hugs, Jill SU resected
