Guest guest
I'm wondering if we aren't allergic to yeast. I'm thinking that this disorder (as others have thought) is autoimmune and we are reacting allergically to the yeast. I'm seriously thinking of testing for yeast allergy. I have yeast (mild infection doc says I can put off treating til after next bleed due about 9 days from time she diagnosed the yeast) now, with no itching, no discharge no vaginal pain - no NOTHING - except red, slightly swollen labia. Yeast Hi all. I am just wondering why some of us have good days with no symtoms and then have such bad days? If it is yeast wouldnt it always remain the same, why have discharge somedays and none at other days...this makes no sense to me.I was recently checked for yeast even a culture and it showed nothing yet i have discharge but not the clumpy stuff.A little red but absoultely no itching. just curiuos if anyone had this happen to them melanee No information posted to this group should be construed as medical advice. Guest guest
My doctor recently ordered a comprehensive stool analysis from Great Smokies laboratory. For what it's worth, on the lab notes it said " All yeast sensitivities. " I'm assuming this means I have an allergy. That might explain why I constantly have the symptoms of a yeast infection, even when no excessive amounts of yeast are found. Dusty, you'll remember that I'm the one who had the infection with baker's yeast...Well, this lab test found something called Geotrichum species yeast. I've never even heard of that one! It also discovered excessive levels of Eosinophil Protein X, which it said can be associated with Crohn's disease. I understand that Crohn's can cause vulvar problems. Guest guest
>I wonder that too. Its awful isnt it? I have seen a Montel episode where this poor girl was allergic to water. Talk about not having a normal life! If someone can be allergic to water, they can more than likely be allergic to yeast. My sister-in-law was allergic to water but it was not an allergy per se. She had chemical burns on her hands from too much chlorine. After her hands healed she had to keep them dry or they would become sore.
