Guest guest
This was posted in a local obituary, and I took out the name of the woman and all identifying information, but this was the very first line of her obit. I told my husband that if I EVER get approved and something goes wrong I will come back to haunt him if he put something like that in my obit... Here it is : Ms. Jane Doe 47, an employee of " Her Company " over the past 18 years, died Sunday, May 14, 2006, in " Her State " , of complications from a gastric bypass surgery performed more than two years ago. Could it be that her family didn't approve of her having the surgery and so they are on some kind of mission to get them to be harder to get? I don't know how much harder it could be as I have jumped through so many flaming hoops already, and when I had everything sent to my insurance company, they want more, after they told me what they wanted to start with, and I got it all. Just curious as to what you all thought about that obit?
Guest guest
Hmmm...well, I dunno, about half the obits I see say why the person died, cancer, accident, and I've seen " surgery complications " before. Maybe it was just that they didn't want to confuse anyone who didn't know her well and make them she'd just had it done or something. But still, it IS a rather specific explanation, and it smacks of resentment by her family members to me. My intuition is that they weren't so much trying to make the surgery harder to get, but to express their anger and resentment at what happened to their loved one. Wondering what you all think about this ???? This was posted in a local obituary, and I took out the name of the woman and all identifying information, but this was the very first line of her obit. Guest guest
Thats crazy! I would have to agree that they didn't want her to do the surgery. I've never seen that in an obit. Cancer or car accident yes. > > This was posted in a local obituary, and I took out the name of the > woman and all identifying information, but this was the very first > line of her obit.
