Guest guest
I also have SU bicollis - only 2 of us " confirmed " here, and another member suspected. This is a rare diagnosis. I had the surgery in Jan/02 after 2 early miscarriages (most likely due to implantatio on the septum). I am currently 34 weeks pregnant, after a successful surgery. I hope I am not repeating myself here and I have already given you this information - I can't remember if you have posted to the group before (I am having an extremely hectic day at work and my brain has turned to mush...) Try not to be too nervous about the surgery - it is really not bad at all. I was back to my normal self within days - even cross-country skiing 2 days later (not to suggest you do that, this is just my lifestyle!) I had a sore belly button for a few weeks, and the first day after surgery my body ached due to the gas used in the lap. My first cycle after surgery was also very heavy, which is normal. An added bonus was that the painful cramps I used to get were gone after the septum resection. I made sure to stay hydrated after surgery and got lots of rest that day. Will your surgeon do any follow-up in the months post-surgery - I had an in-office hysteroscopy one cycle post surgery which showed the surgery to be successful. Let us know how it goes, SU resected, bicollis _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your messages with MSN 8.
