It is not unusual to suffer some initial insomnia but you could try

melatonin to get you through this initial period. I often take my LDN

between 2 and 3am as I usually go to bed about 3am and it doesn't cause

me a problem but that probably doesn't give you much of a guide as I

have been taking it over 2 years now. In fact I now sleep far better

than I did in the years before starting on it. I am pretty sure you

will find that soon you won't be waking and will probably sleep better

than you used to.

Hi

I've taken ldn since for 2 years and still wake up almost every night about 3 a.m. very awake. I've been taking it anywhere between 9:30 and 10:30.

Last night went to bed at 10 and woke up about midnight (for bathroom visit), so I took then. I didn't get up again till 4 which is pretty good for me.

LDN is suppose to be taken between 9pm and 2am. In the book I bought "Up the Creek with a Paddle" Dr Bihari says just as the sex hormone testosterone controls sexual function, endorphins control and regulate the immune system. Endorphins are produced nightly between the hours of 9pm and 2am, so if it taken between those hours it triples endorphin production bringing the levels up to normal. Dr Bihari claimed that if endorphin production is regulated, they would be able to control and regulate the immune system. The immune system would no longer be able to attack itself. I hope this helps answers your question. Always A Friend, Crystal theshultzgang <theshultzgang@...>

When I started at 3mg I had no problems sleeping, it actually made me sleep better then about 5 months after I went up to 4.5mg and the first week or two I had a hard time sleeping and had wierd dreams but that is normal side effects and will go away within the first week or two. Thanks for getting back to me. Would you recommend I buy that book too? I've only done internet research on LDN. But I appreciate you letting me know what the books says for sure. I'll try taking it tonight during a potty break at 1 or 2 a.m. I noticed I have energy today, but it feels fake. I guess I just need to get used to the stuff. I do appreciate your comments though. Gawd! You had me worried Crystal given I sometimes take mine close to

3am! :-)

However, from low dose naltrexone.org: " Because of the rhythms of the

body's production of master hormones, LDN is best taken between 9pm and

3am. "

Hi , Your Very Welcome!!!! Yes I Highly Recommend 's Book "Up the Creek with a Paddle". I would say that anyone who hasn't gotten the book they should because it has helped me to understand how LDN works plus more. Some people have the side effect the first week or two of not sleeping good and some having vivid dreams but it goes away within a week or two. Crystal, I'm going to look for the book on eBay and check it out. I'm pretty tired now -- no sleep from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m., but from 6-8 I slept wonderful. I've also been seeing a naturopath doctor and given up wheat and dairy which has prevented me from relapsing, so I keep wondering if I need LDN or not. If I could just get rid of the fatigue, I'd be set. Crystal <crystalangel6771@...> wrote: Hi , Your Very Welcome!!!! Yes I Highly Recommend 's Book "Up the Creek with a Paddle".
