Hi ,

I know that everyone is different but here is my experience. I was on copaxone prior to starting LDN. I was on Copaxone for only 4 months and had some very negative experiences. I got off of Copaxone and started LDN. I haven't had any problems with LDN and I feel great on LDN. Good luck on making your decision.

[low dose naltrexone] LDN, Copaxone and steroids

Hi everyone,I have been taking LDN for 6 months. I posted a couple of months ago about possible progression that I'm having although I'm on LDN. My MRIs last week revealed a new active lesion (at least one). My neuro is pretty open minded, but is encouraging me to start one of the CRABS . I already did Avonex last year and told him I would only consider Copaxone. Is anyone out there having positive results combining Copaxone and LDN?Also, he is suggesting 5 days of steroid injections to get past this exacerbation. What do I need to know about LDN and steroids? Does anyone have any experience they may be willing to share? Thanks for any responses,

Follow-up MRI after one year of Copaxone showed more " innumerable

active lesions " for me. I then found LDN and quit Copaxone at the same

time. After 8 months on LDN, all previously active lesions were no

longer active. Only one very small new gadolinium enhanced lesion was

detectable.

I like LDN. It works for me. Side effects are either non-existant or good.
