Hey guys, I'm still in the process of getting well from

a terrible cold. I know since I'm on Imuran it takes

longer to heal, but I've had this cold going on two

weeks. My doc gave me a Z pack and Panmist. Both are

supposed to be ok to take with liver disease. I see

where some of you guys are talking about mono. I had a

terrible case of mono when I was freshman in high

school, went back to school to soon and had a relapse.

The relapse was worse than the original onset. I missed

about 6 months of school total. My doc told me when I

was dx'd that mono is sometimes a factor with AIH

patients.

Hope everyone is doing well and Happy New Year!!!!!

Hi Bert, I've been reading your postings about your

possible AIH. I would insist on a liver biopsy. It's

the only sure fire way to diagnose AIH and see if there

is any scarring already. I had my first one in Jan

2000, went to sleep for it, recovery went well. I had a

2nd one just a few weeks ago just to check my progress.

I chose not to be put to sleep for this one (anesthesia

scares me). It was really not bad at all. It's over so

quick. That night I did have soreness at the incision

site and pain in my right shoulder. That's very common

I learned.

Hope you find out for sure what's up soon. Take care,

I read with interest the piece on closing throat and as I am a reiki master,

I do understand there is something other than candida issues at play...perhaps

it is the anger over the illusion pushed on us by traditional eating and

marketing/advertising for our fast lifestyles...I know it was a real eye opener

to

find realize I have had candidaisis most of my 51 years on this planet, and

that all the foods I used to find so " comforting " were hurting me! breaking

through the illusion can make one feel like a wounded child.

I would like permission from the closed throat person to perform distance

reiki to help them move some of the discomfort. However, you really must TALK,

JOURNAL or RELEASE what is going on somehow...if you want to e-mail me

directly, please feel free, I will hold our communication in the strictest

confidence.

I want to thank all of you for this forum, I wasn't feeling well the last

couple of days and find that not only have you all reminded me of important

elements of getting well but not feeling so alone. Most people don't even have

a

clue of what we are experiencing much less what candidaisis is...it is good to

know I am in good company.

For the ITCHY person, I belive you mentioned it was on the rear end...I have

the same thing and it is enough to drive you nuts at times...It flares up

(usually while asleep and I don't realize I'm scratching) but it is a good

barometer when I have misbehaved...try raw Apple cider vinegar (Braggs) on a

cotton

ball or gauze pad, dab gently, it will burn and you will want to go through the

roof for about 2-3 minutes but after it dries, no itching or pain...keep the

area dry as you can otherwise, dust with some cornstarch or powder keep a

gauze pad there...I can also suggest that I read olive leaf extract mixed with

aloe vera gel makes an ointment for this type of rash/itch as well though I have

not tried it since I'm happy with the vinegar...I also read once that Selsun

blue dandruff shampoo will quell the itching (I suppose other brands would work

as well) skinfolds where moisture can collect are notorious locations of

candida/rash (like diaper rash! how embarrasing)

I just ordered some roasted chicory to use as a coffee substitute, I never

gave it up, I've cut the caffeine almost to nothing (1 scoop regular to 3 scoops

decaf) but I found that is harder to give up than the vodka was...I'll let

you all know how I liked it...trying to increase natural forms of inulin

(prebiotics) as well as the rest of the regimen.

love & blessings for healing

I am just going to say ditto to this way of thinking and approach to

life. I also have Reiki experience... went up to the Master level and

passed it on to a few people. Some people that were drawn to me wanted

" ME " to heal them, wanted a guru. As soon as something was amiss or

their pain flared up... they wanted me to make it go away. I decided

that I did not want to be in that position... I am nobody's guru... we

can help others, but we truly only can heal ourselves. I still use

Reiki or energy in day to day life... I should remember to use it more

often.

I am not a passive healer... I investigate, ask questions, read... ask

more questions and I challenge statements and experiment. I have

learned alot about myself and my body while dealing with this

disorder... there is always something to be learned.

This is not a good idea if you are trying to correct an omega-3 deficiency

using Dr Johanna Budwig's protocol.

, Marcie and all

Magnesium does not cause diahrrea (a disease) but it can cause loose stools if too large a dose is taken at one time.

The trick is to take frequent, small doses to get the benefits which can be very substantial and well worth the effort.

Most folks are Mg deficient or have a significant imbalance with Calcium.... and women wonder why they have bone loss.
