WLS Event in Corona, CA Saturday!

It's not to late to sign up! Toms Farms is this Saturday! Here is

the information on the site and for the protein/clothing exchange.

Who else wants to come?? Let me know so I can get enough seats!

Also, here is some info on the events for the day.

Clothing Exchange: Please bring your clothes and seperate them into

the appropriate 'size' pile. This will make it easier for people to

pick out clothes to take home. Bring a bag to take your stuff home

in. Also, if you don't have any clothes to contribute yet, that is

okay....you can still bring clothes home.

Protein Exchange: Bring samples of the protein you like or bring the

ones you can't stand....chances are someone will like it. It gives

us a chance to try something new without spending a fortune on a big

bucket of powder. Be sure to label the protein clearly with info on

calories, protein, carbs and a name and phone number in case the

person taking it has a question. Also bring any vitamins or products

you want to share.

Medical Alert Bracelets: Sharon 's daughter will be there too

with some beautiful handmade medical bracelets. Be sure to check

them out.

Finally, there is a few park rules. I reserved the tables to sit

together, on the condition that there are no outside coolers or

food. Part of the plan is that we have the event catered, but since

we all have individual food needs, the facility agreed to let us

order our own food from them. Please be considerate of this....there

is free water and bottled water there as well as fresh food shops

and 3 restaurants.

This April TOMS FARMS will be held on Saturday April 22 from 11am-

3pm.

Tom's Farms is located in Corona about 8 miles south of the 91

freeway on the 15 freeway in Riverside County in Southern

California.

This is a family friendly event that is perfect for everyone!

Whether you have been to an OH event or not, this is the perfect

time for fellowship with others who know exactly what you are going

through. There are alot of activities and shops suitable for the

entire family. The address is 23922 Temescal Canyon Road in Corona

for those who would like to mapquest directions. Here is a link to

This will be our 3rd Toms farms event and each one has been a huge

success with nearly 100 people attending. At our last Tom's Farms

event in October we were able to have a protein exchange, clothing

exchange, and Medical bracelets by Mindy.

If you are interested in attending please reply to this post so that

I can arrange for enough seating.

Anyone who would like to volunteer for setup and cleanup of the

clothing exchange, as well as a meet and greet crew, please email

me.

There is also a fee for having our tables set up and placed together

and anyone wishing to donate a few bucks to help with the costs,

well it would be very much appreciated by me, the hostess.

I hope this will be as great of a turnout as our last 2 Toms Farms

events! I challenge all the newbies and lurkers out there to come

get to know the great family of Cali Board Posters! Everyone is

welcome!
