I have found that sometimes the steriods can irritate you. Some

people have a really hard time with them.

Wish I could be more help.

Steroids will thin out the skin if used too long. How long ago did

you stop using the ointment?

I was told to not use it more than 14 days at the max. After that,

the skin will start to break down. I used it for only 7 (or once my

symptoms were gone). I would try a day or two without it and see if

it helps.

For dryness, a great product that doesn't seem to bother those with

vulvar pain is AstroGlide. I found that Replens and KY both caused

me chemical burns that required 1 week of steroid ointments. The

vicous cycle!

It can be as simple as broken blood vessels on the surface of the labia.

The redness would not go away given that scenario.

Congatulations on getting rid of most of your symptoms - how did you

achieve this?
