Guest guest
Hi Sandy, Yes it is criminal what they put people through. I am in the appeals process of my denial letter, so I've got my paperwork cut out for me. I am going to write those people in Virginia and tell them about all the errors that were in my letter. My lawyer had given me false hope when he sent another letter to me and told me we had other options after the judgement came through. A couple of weeks later he then said there was nothing more he could do and that I was better off fighting the rest of the way by myself on this part of it. So instead of representing me, he dropped me in the last attempt to approve my case. First he told me to write the letter, then he said don't pay special attention to certain parts b/c thats sending a red flag for my case. He was talking out of both sides of his mouth. Its not been fun I'll tell ya, but I'm still fighting and I'm not done yet. Thanks for writing. Hugs back C Sandi Harrington wrote: Dear Claudette, I am so sorry. It's criminal to put people that are in so much pain through so much. Then the work makes the flairs and other complications worse. It makes me so furious. It's criminal!!! So much for social security! Sleep apnea alone should be at least a 50% disability! Fibromyalgia at least another 50%; Osteoarthritis another 50%; and your other symptoms show that your body cannot handle any more than you have already!! Keep on, don't give up! {{{Gentle hugs}}} Sandi Disability for fibro? Not In Southeastern Ohio!!!!! > >I was denied yet again for disability. I had four doctors telling me I had fibro and while they all said it, none of them backed me up on it, maybe GP, but even he said I could still do sedentary work, rheumatologist said its very hard to get fibro, so apparently she wasnt a big supporter, pain doctor told me upfront she wouldn't write me a letter of disability and the old pain doctor, well, she thinks physical therapy clears everything up. > > So years of counceling, physical and mental, scads of doctors, two lawyers and six years later, it STILL doesnt work for me, not only fibro, but other stuff, DDD, osteoarthritis in my spine, an adrenal gland disorder, PCOS, diabetes, depression, heart irregularities, sleep apnea, obesity ( I HATE that word) > > This last decision, the judge made a mess of my denial letter, said I worked when I didn't, and made other errors, a key doctors reports were not in my file, lawyer was mostly incompetent and wasn't fighting for me, also said that the lawyers in Columbus are old and don't believe in fibro, its just a regular disaster. > > My guilty part of this negative outcome was that I was working part-time and trying to keep myself from going under financially. SSA will find anything and everything to twist and turn your case so bad, you're in shock and disbelief when you read it and won't let you have a freakin dime of their precious money, 6 YEARS PEOPLE 6 YEARS. okay im getting off of my podium, but c'mon give me break I'm sure most of you can understand my anger. but don't worry Im dealing and finding ways to cope. I don't know what more I have to have to be considered disabled--Oh yah thats right, a doctor that will back me up and a lawyer that has a backbone. oh and a judge that's young and up on fibro and its devastation. Guest guest
Great lawyer! Another thing is trying to do the paperwork when you are in such pain and that's not all one must do!
