Guest guest
Hi Ken, Congratulations. How great that you had a girl. Ann is a beautiful name. About your back, I suggest heat or maybe one of those stick on patches like solonpas or something similar. Heat has always helped my back. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Aww. congratulations!! I love the name too! Heat helps my back...speaking of which, I need to find that heating pad. When I had my son I had a great deal of back labor (kids are wonderful) and I would hold him to nurse and my upper back, shoulder & neck would ache (guess the fibro may have been kicking in way back then) but I would sit down, lay and pillow across my lap & cradle his head in the crook of my elbow if I was going to nurse or hold him awhile. That might help you when you hold her or even when you feed her a bottle. The pillow is supporting the weight of her body and you are just cradling her head. Good Luck and don't get too discouraged! [sPAM] HUGE NEWS I'm very happy to say that my wife and I and our 6yr old son are happy to welcome Ann into the world on Thursday Oct 11at 3:15pm. . Guest guest
A big congratulations! that is wonderful news. I am sorry you are so sore. I hope maybe Lyrica will help. Other than that, maybe some over the counter stuff. I take Aleve sometimes in between my prescription med. It seems to help some. Congratulations again. Now the hard part Holding her made my arms real sore and then also while holding her my back decided to seize up. I'm already on 900M of Neurontin, 400M of Celebrex and 15m of flexeril a day and it doesn't seem like it's doing any good. I think I'm about to try Lyrica. Hope I have some success with that. Any suggestions on what I can do until I can call my DR on Monday? I have 5 daughters, 2 are my natural children and 3 are my step daughters. My natural are ages 20 and 15 and was just told the other day that my 20 year old is giving me my natural grandchild but i have 12 step grandchildren. I love them all as my own and to me they are mine. Enjoy Vicki krosen0171@... wrote: I'm very happy to say that my wife and I and our 6yr old son are happy to welcome Ann into the world on Thursday Oct 11at 3:15pm. Guest guest
Hj Ken, You''\ll have to think like you do for kids and the elderly, sit when you hold her and support your body. There are pillows out now that support the baby for breast feeding and as the child gets older supports them to sit independently. I wish I could remember the name of it. You can also get the sling that supports the baby across your body when you hold it. It is getting to late for me to remember the name of it. Again, congradulations and enjoy every moment because before you know it they will be moody pms girls like the rest of us here. You'll still love her but be very happy when she is in her bed asleep. Speaking of which, I need to check on my moody teen who was in a car accident and is in a lot of pain with soft tissue tramma, I just remind her that that is how I feel everyday. Judymer PS give Ann a great big snuggle from me and enjoy that great new baby smell. ---- krosen0171@... wrote: > I'm very happy to say that my wife and I and our 6yr old son are happy to > welcome Ann into the world on Thursday Oct 11at 3:15pm. > > > Now the hard part > > Holding her made my arms real sore and then also while holding her my back > decided to seize up.
