My Gran might have had dyspraxia, my aunt didn't, but she was a little hyperactive (at nearly 60). I'm 24. Dyspraxia and ADD have a lot in common with FMS. Trust me on this one life is dull!! Its not bad besides that. I don't work and my course is a correspondance. In the UK we have The Open University which is great, you get lots of support. You have a local tutor. I'm lucky I've still got mum looking after me. Although I moved out of home for the second time last August. Thats me for now, what about you and your daughters? Guest guest
So you are in the UK. My daughters are Amber (15) in grade 10 with 2 more years in high school, manages to be on the honor roll despite lots of absences due to FM. Next is Amy (20) in college taking Entertainment Admin and also getting honors, she has chronic headaches but just keeps pushing on, she and her boyfriend Adam, share an apt. about 1 1/2 hours drive from us. The moderator of this list and our oldest daughter is (22) who is married to and they have a dog named Bear. My very own grand-dog .LOL took journalism in school but unfortunately has not been able to work in that field yet. She has both FM and CFS as well as a fainting disorder which took three years to get a diagnosis. But if you want to talk to someone with a zest for life, it is . She also lives in the same area as her sister. We are a very close family and spend almost every weekend together. Oh, yes how can I forget their Dad is Bruce and he is both a truck driver and a professional clown. Yes, you read that right.LOL We are doing a three day show this weekend so I am trying to get everything organized. We will do animal balloons for the kids and Amber does face painting as a part time job. It looks like there is a genetic link with your family as well as ours, my two sisters have it. That makes three in my generation and three in the next generation. Yet medical community are still deciding if there is a genetic link. I have no doubt, do you ? Better go and do my clown asst. duties or I might be fired.LOL Can you get fired from a non-paying job ???????? Hugs to you
