Guest guest Posted September 7, 2001 Report Share Posted September 7, 2001 Hi Friends, I thought I would let everyone know that I am out of here for a weekend of fun in the sun. It has been a busy week, and I promise to catch up with some posts once we return. Jeff and I are part of The Maine Isle and Trail Association. Maine has a wonderful coastline peppered with islands. MITA has access to many of the islands for low impact camping to small boats, with us it is a kayak. We are going to the annual meeting for the first time which is held in Portland. We do everything from lobster bake, learn how to use our GPS, a kayak trip, and we can participate in making a boat out of cardboard and duct tape! lol We won't be home until late Sunday. I am really looking forward to meeting fellow kayakers and enjoying the Indian Summer we are having. Have a great weekend, and hope everyone can be pain free as possible.
