Hi Gang,

Last week I received form my compounding pharmacist " Step Two " of the compounded

products.

The pharmacist used 2% noritate in this compound as per requested from Dr. Nace.

This compound goes on a lot smoother and is not as drying as the first step

compound. This is starting to really help me. At the end of a long day, my face

usually feels like it has been deep fried. I usually can't wait to wash up and

put on the compounded cream. It is very soothing for me. When I get up and wash

in the morning it feels great. I'm still using the oils and sunscreen make-ups.

I also made a preliminary batch of soap about a week ago. It came out very soft,

so I'm allowing it to cure for about a month before I try and use it. I'm hoping

it will harden up some. It turned out a golden yellow color and smells like

Chamomile flowers. If it doesn't harden up to what I desire, I will have to go

back to the drawing board and find some harder oils to use, that will also be

good for my skin. I will probably use more olive and coconut oils. Safflower and

Jojoba and Emu are extremely soft and unsaturated oils. Must be why they are so

good for our skin. I also made the soap in an oatmilk base, both at the

beginning of the process and again at the end.

I promise to keep you all updated.

I go for my first photoderm May 5th. I'm really nervous about this. I hope I

don't loose my nerve and cancel the appointment.

Take Care All,

~Deborah
