Went to the pain specialist..what a waste

I am sick and tired of Dr's at this point! I have have seen 2 drs and 2

specialists and none of them are any help. The pain specialist says PT and

counseling with a psychologist who specializes in chronic pain. NO MEDS..

Nothing for pain, zip, zilch, nada! I drove almost 2 hours, plus the appt

was almost 2 hours for nothing! Just driving there was a lot for me, and

when I got home I was hurting and very tired..

I do not want to see anymore Dr's either..At least this one didn't tell me

what I already know (lose weight)..I wanted to cry, I am now down, something

I do NOT need! And to top it all off I have a dang cold! I was sick

yesterday and didn't want to go, but I did, praying he would at least offer

some kind of meds.. I will do what he has asked and if it doesn't help then

maybe he will give up those precious drugs they are so worried about me

getting addicted to! I can thank my mother for part of that, she is a

recovered alcoholic and abuses prescription drugs, I should of lied. But it

s in my file. I am 44 and have been addicted to anything, except cigarettes.

This Dr mentioned my mother and I said " well that's my mother's problem, not

mine! I am NOT my mother "
