Get educated about vaccine exemptions for your state.

The links Dana gave should help. If your not finding

help, ask again here, or contact some autism groups

in your area. Suggestion: Don't vaccinate. You can also

get the book " What Your Doctor May NOT Tell You About

Children's Vaccinations " by Cave MD.

It has some resources in the back.

Hello to all:

I have a sister in law having trouble with the doctors about getting the

vaccines separated. We live in Central Pa. Any sites I can refer her to?

Thank You

Cherie,

I live in Central PA too. You can e-mail me off list to give me more

information the situation. I personally have not vaccinated and had titers

checked. I believe Hershey Medical Center will order them. When I was

going to vaccinate the second time of MMR, I was going to do so through

them. My e-mail is (jhines@...)

If you want to get the vaccinations, I would read the labels first. There

have been postings here this past week of people reading the inserts that

come with the vaccinations and finding thermerasol on the ingredients. You

can also ask for single dose vials to be used, those usually have no

thermerasol.

You may also get a religious exemption and not have to give them at all.

If I were you, I would read a book about vaccinations before making your

decision. You don’t have to do it now. Two authors that I have read are

Cave, MD and Neil because there are many side effects (as

you know) besides thermisol that that can give you many more problems and

other ingredients that are used to make the vaccinations that aren’t much

better than the thermerasol. I know I am NOT getting my kids vaccinated

anymore after reading everything from this group and the books. Most of the

diseases that are being vaccinated for are not life threatening, if your

children are healthy, or there isn’t much risk of your kids getting it.

Hi My name is ,

I have an 8 year old son with Asperger's Syndrome and a 10 year old

son with severe ADHD. My 5 year old daughter starts school this year

and I went to the health department to ask if they have vaccines w.out

Thimerasaul<sp> The nurse informed me that there are no longer

preservatives in childrens vaccines. Is this true? I told her I would

still want to read the package label and ingrediants before they

adminster the vaccines to my daughter. Is there a way for me to find

out for sure that it is safe? I know the real danger lays with the MMR

and earlier shots but of coarse I am still very weary of them all now

that I have been rudly awakened by my sons issues and the side effects

they face on a daily basis from being poisoned w/ mercury.

thankyou

There are a lot of other ingredients in vaccines besides mercury

that are harmful. This web site lists them.

http://www.vaccination.inoz.com/ingredie.html

I opted not to give my daughter her kindergarten boosters.

It was my understanding that the thimerasol was " taken out " of

infant vaccines. I beleive an 8 yr. old would get adult vaccines

which have the full load of mercury.

You would need to read the package inserts to know. But honestly, I

don't know that I could trust the package inserts.

There are other toxins in vaccines besides mercury, you may want to

do some research before giving your daughter vaccines.

For my NT daughter I wrote a religious exemption when she started

kindergarten last year.

Mercury and other toxins are a major concern, the vaccines may not list mercury

but are still processed using the product. There are bound to be small amounts.

Another highly neurotoxic ingredient is aluminum. There are also DNA and RNA

from other animals as well in some of the vaccines. That has been implicated in

the spread of simian viruses including one that causes cancer. Though the

biggest concern is mercury, it isn't the only one.

Other than that...another thing to think about is that the whole vaccine

process. Our autistic kids do not react normally to toxins of any sort, they

also do not have great immune function. Giving any vaccine is going to

challenge the immune system in a way that we can't know. With so many disorders

and diseases being tied to vaccines I wouldn't even consider giving a vaccine

unless I thought they were in imminent danger of contracting the disease.

Definitely read the package inserts, people are still finding mercury in

vaccines. Check out some of the vaccine sites, they can tell you better what is

really in those things and the history behind them.

Not entirely. Check here for current production

http://www.vaccinesafety.edu/thi-table.htm

Old stock is still on the shelves tho, so you still need to read the

documentation for anything you are considering.

You are wise.

You can get preliminary info here, but check the actual shots also

http://www.vaccinesafety.edu/package_inserts.htm

Nope, potential danger with all of them. Lots of regression stories

with HepB at 7th grade, tetanus at any age, etc.

If you want to waive them, find your state here

I agree with many of the others...there are other harmful things in

the vaccines. And....I have seen reports where they have tested " so

called THimerosal free vaccines " only to find out its still in

there.

For my little guy were are not doing the vaccines. Every state has

its own exemptions so if thats something you might consider please

look into that.

Take care

All flu shots still have mercury in them I believe. The diptheria, tetnus

boosters have thimerisol in them too I think.

I got a flu shot while on Remicade and thought I was going to die. Within

24 hours I had an ear infection that was horrendous, then I was put on high

powered antibiotics, and things went continuously downhill to the point where I

would have willingly died. Then the doctor suspected I'd developed lymphoma

on top of it. I'll never have another one.

Susye,

Not a stupid question! A titer will determine if you have the antibody but

not necessarily immunity. IE: I had my non ASD child's MMR titers checked

because at 5 they want to give the second dose because 5% don't become

immune the first time around. He has plenty of MMR antibodies 3 1/2 years

later from the initial MMR. Doctors can give you a medical exemption if

they show positive antibodies based on the testing.

Our children receive immunity from us during pregnancy. I would guess that

this would continue if you are still breastfeeding.

Here is a good link about vaccination http://www.tacanow.com/vrules.htm

I think you are going to get a big mix of responses to your post.

never really lost speech, she simply ... stalled. She said

" mama " and " dada " on time and then said " hi " and that was about it. She

would say a word or a phrase very clearly and then never say it again (a

HUGE red flag for apraxia). I do not attribute her apraxia to vaccines,

personally. She never had an adverse reaction (one, she was very tired

and slept for 4 hours afterward, but that's about it) of any kind to

vaccines. Others might have different stories, but that is ours.

Hope that helps!

Ok. I'm new to this message board, so please excuse me if this subject

has already been hashed out. I've heard little snippets here and

there about vaccines possibly causing apraxia and other neurological

disorders. I've read a few articles, but I'm really more interested in

real peoples experiences. While we don't have an official diagnosis,

it looks as though my 20 month old has verbal apraxia. At 12 months

she was saying a few words, but lost that ability shortly thereafter.

We were pretty anti vaccine, but were forced into it later, so she

didnt' have her first round of vaccines until 9 months. She had her

second round at around 12 months. While we can't pinpoint it, we know

that her word usage dropped off sometime between 13 and 15 months. I

was just wondering - how many of you attribute your childs apraxia to

vaccines? Also, and maybe this is false hope, have any of you heard

of a traumatic event causing voluntary muteness? My daughter was

really sick and hospitalized, and then a week later diagnosed with a

kidney disease that involved alot of invasive tests for weeks on end.

This is also about when she quit talking.

Thanks a bunch!

I don't know if a loss of language is common for kids with just

apraxia (I haven't heard of it), but regression in language is quite

common in kids with ASD. Both my kids were diagnosed with ASD, and the

youngest with apraxia as well. Your daughter sounds like my little one

- she was saying " Mama " , " Dada " , and a few other words at 12 months,

and then lost them between 13-15 months. We spent months on early

intervention speech therapy without her gaining any words, and then

she was diagnosed right when she turned 2.

I've always thought that the same triggers may produce both disorders,

and that genetic susceptibility plays a role as well. So I wouldn't be

surprised if at least for some kids with apraxia, vaccines were a

contributing factor. I think kids with apraxia can be helped greatly

by the Dan protocol. My daughter is a great success story - she has

lost her diagnoses and her neurologist thinks she is just fine.

Without the treatment of a Dan doctor, I am sure she would still have

language (and other) issues.

Hi,

Without getting into it too much, I do think that many apraxic and

autistic kids were harmed by vaccines. I suspect that my daughter's

apraxia was partly caused by the thimerosal in flu shots.

As far as the traumatic event causing voluntary mutism...I've never

heard of it, but wouldn't count it out. BUT, there are some parents

on this board (myself included) whose children regressed during or

immediately following an illness. For my daughter, it was just

after she had an illness with a high fever for several days. I

suspect a virus played a part in her (now almost completely

resolved) apraxia.

Here are two sites where you can gather information and make your

own decision. This is a tough decision. The best you can do is

make an informed one, I think.

http://www.mothering.com/discussions/forumdisplay.php?f=47

www.909shot.com

May I ask how you were forced into vaccinating? What state do you

live in? In PA, where we live, we have the right to religious

exemption and no one can deny us that for school, daycare, etc

Kathleen

PS I would not look to the CDC for information. THere are more

than a few people who work there AND hold finanical stock/patents on

vaccines. This is a huge conflict of interest that has been and is

still an issue in our Congress.

youngest with apraxia as well.

A DAN doctor is a doctor who focuses on treating the medical problems

of children with autism. If you google the Autism Research Institute,

you'll find a listing of (self-reported) DAN doctors. I recommend that

you join one of the medical autism and ask for

recommendations from parents in your area (abmd, gfcfkids,

csb-autism-rx, etc).
