Steadman's spells it Rummel.

Medical Phrase Index spellit Rumel.

Google brings up hits with Rumel.

I can't verify the spelling for sure. Can anyone else help out?

Thanks,

It's Rumel (or Rumel-Belmont?) in Tessier's The Surgical Word Book

(1981).

It's Rumel's (or Rumel-Belmont?) in Sloane's Medical Abbreviations &

Eponyms, 2nd Ed. (1997).

It's Rumel in Ellen Drake's Sloane's Medical Word Book 4th Edition (2002).

Is it possible that Stedman's has an error? (If so, it's an error in the

27th Edition, which I just checked--don't know about other editions).
