Guest guest
Awwww, that's so sweet, yes I was wishing you and everyone a happy thanks in my head but I just couldnt or havnt had the time or the energy to write. About the getting warm part-- I don't know if you have this but do your fingers get icy cold? then a little while later they are very warm and yes I seem to feel cold at times and try to get warm, I notice this alot though right before I'm suppose to start. I thought there was some strange connection so I didnt give it much thought. Ive noticed temp changes over the past several years- in recent years, I'll heat up and sweat alot, then have a cool down period, as soon as I would start exerting myself, I would start to sweat. I thought it was medications, i even thought I was going through menopause, at times, I wake up with dampened clothes. I bought a home test for menopause even, but it didnt show anything. Now I know I have adrenal problems, but there's something screwy going on with my thermostat!!! Last year when I had an episode with my heart and blood pressure, and all those temp problems. the er doctor ended up tested me for pheochromocytoma, (tumors) but it didnt show anything. Im at a loss, doctors wont do any further thyroid testing, there is a definite swelling on the right side, and a discoloration, it seemed more red, swelled and itchy, then it kind of subsides. I'll just have to try and get my endo to do some further testing. Oh and also I did have a very heavy period this month and now that I think back it has been more irregular through this year. Length, time it starts, flow. This time I passed alot of clots. Well any feedback is appreciated. signing off tonight... Hugs back C deebs87 wrote: Hello C!! I was thinking about you and wondering how you are. Like you, sometimes I don't feel up to posting or lurking. We did have a nice Thanksgiving. Hope yours was also. My biggest symptom when I learned I had hypothyroidism was I couldn't get warm. In 1994 while sitting in my FP office I was freezing with the A/C. Cold intolerance is one symptom of it. Since I already knew I had fibro I learned many syptoms are similar such as fatigue, forgetfulness, dry itchy skin and weight gain. She put me on Synthroid 50mcg and I stayed on that dose till 2005. My temp runs around 97 most of the time, too. None of my doctors ever said that was a problem. I know if I am feverish if my temp is over 99. Don't know if being hypo causes difficulty to conceive. Accrording to the pamphlet I got from my endocrinologist (endo), other symptoms are heavy or irreg flow, and increased miscarriages. What type of doctor is treating your PCOS? I see a menopausal endo for my female stuff. She is the one to discover I had a large nodule on my thyroid gland. My neck wasn't swollen but an egg size lump could be felt. Please have your doctor examine your swollen neck. It may be a sign of thyroid trouble. You need to have your TSH and other thyroid hormones tested, too. warm hugs, Debbie J --- > > > > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > Access over 1 million songs - Yahoo!
