Guest guest
Hello everyone! Well, I can not believe it was one year on Nov.9 for our 8 year old daughter, Amy's decompression surgery. She did end up getting aseptic meningitis 9 days post op but recovered from that with a week of steroids and many weeks after that. We just saw the NSG a few weeks ago and he was beaming from ear to ear. Her syrinx is down to about 25% left of what was there before surgery and her Scoliosis is down to about 22% degrees from 32% post op. She feels great with very few headaches now and is a very happy active little girl. We see the Ortho Dr. in Feb/2001 to keep an eye on her curve and if everything is going good, we do not see the NSG for 2 years and for another MRI! Wow! Thanks again for all your help and prayers for all that we went through last year. Take care, Lillian _________________________________________________________________ iVillage.com: Solutions for Your Life Check out the most exciting women's community on the Web http://www.ivillage.com ------- End of forwarded message ------- _________________________________________________________________ iVillage.com: Solutions for Your Life Check out the most exciting women's community on the Web http://www.ivillage.com
