Guest guest
****Note from Co-Owner: There has been a commercial running on tv for the last few months that relates to fibro that is sponsored by the National Fibromyalgia Association, but it is true that we need to do more to promote awareness about fibro thru walks and such. **** Hi! I'm a 22 yr old who was diagnosed in 04 with FM after having my daughter.Over the last 3 yrs I've noticed that there are all kinds of awareness activities for other conditions (Walks/ Races for various illnesses)but nothing of that nature for FM. I don't think that just because our condition, while life changing and very painful, isn't life threatening that people shouldn't be educated. I think the world should be a bit more fibro friendly. I want my aunt (also an FM sufferer) to be able to park with her handicap sticker and not have people tell her she isn't disabled. So I'm attempting to organize a walk here in Dallas to raise awareness but have no idea what I'm doing or how to go about it. Any help?
