just wanted to let everyone know that we had to put Winnie to sleep this am. she kinda gave me the sings that she was ready...so and i took her to the vet and it was the most peaceful thing i could have asked for anyone... she got to pass with me holding her and knowing that she was very loved.

the vet said that there was really nothing that we could have done and we knew the right time to bring her in. she had a inflammatory cancer and grew like mad in less than a week.

we are going to have her buried next to rosie in the back so that we can always go see her...

thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers...

I am sorry to hear that. The one sad thing about our beloved pets is that we have to lose them.

Wen, I am too so sorry to hear of your loss. I have 2 teacup yorkies that I have had for almost 8 years now. Although they still act like puppies, I know they are getting old and when they pass on it will be a big loss to me. I had one that had gotten out of site one time and ended up missing for 4 days, see the 2 I have are brothers, the only 2 in the litter when born. I bought both of them within 2 weeks when they became able to leave their mother. They were both small enough that each one fit in the palm of my hand when I brought them home almost 8 years ago. The one that came up missing, I cried and cried and was so scared I would never see him again, and his brother, well you could tell he had changed and seemed sort of lost within those four days he was missing. Oh, their names are Stuart and Willie. Stuart was the one that came up

missing a couple of years ago, but I found him and we were all re-united in the happiest way. Pets to people that have a love for our little furrier friends, well they become part of the family, some get to sit at the same dinner table with us, some we share our beds with so they don't feel alone at night, and they seem to get so excited to see us when they have been left alone at home even if it is just for a short few minutes. They become part of the family and when one is lost in passing it is like losing a human family member. I can't imagine the loss you must be feeling. I'm so glad you got to be there with her. And probably if you do choose to get another furrie friend, not to replace her, but to make your heart not cry so hard, you and your family will be able to love the new member just as much as you did with winnie. I now I would have to get another furrie friend when one or both of mine leave me, I wouldn't do it to try to replace them, I would do it because of my love

for animals and what they add to my life each day which is alot of joy and happiness. Take care and know the sadness in your heart right now will leave as you know she is no longer hurting anymore.
