Guest guest
Oh ((hug)) Im sorry- lucky, they can go in with a scope and take the endometriosis off, but they need to go and take it away. In Endometriosis, the cells that make the endometrial lining manage to get out of the endometrium, and when your monthly cycle tells them to swell and engorge, the ones outside the womb do it too, making you miserable. Although there are many different drugs you can take, most dont help as much as narcotics and considering how safe ad reliable narcotics are, research says they are really not used as much as they should be. Plus, they promote sleep. I guess I am saying- maybe the right narcs could be very useful. Bethann

I am so worried. It can go into your bowels. They thought it might have gone into mine because I had bleeding out of my rectum ONLY during my period, every period. They checked and found no evidence that it had. So just because they suspect it doesn't mean it has. The best of everything to you. Guest guest
Hi , A colon scope is a good idea your doctor can do to get the endometriousis out of your bowels. Are you on female hormones now? I do have endometriosis also but my doctor put my on estrace and provera which keeps it calm. Guest guest
Bethann Thanks for the info. I wonder since I've had a total hysterectomy, and therefore will not have my cycle anymore, why is it still so painful. It must still swell. Thanks again for your info it does help. Pls see the message I sent to Lori (changed the title of it though to reflect more of the discussion) b/c I explained a bit more about why to keep an eye on your fibro. It must still swell. You still have parts of your cycle- just not the part that makes you bleed. You have the hormones from your brain that tell your uterus to prepare- your brain just doesnt know that your uterus has moved away and left no forwarding address. Also, whenevr you have surgery or any serious illness, the added stress on your body can cause a fibroflare. Sounds like a sueprhero.... Fibroflare! Able to stop strong women with a single bound! Fibroflare- able to bring all productive action to a grindling halt! Ta-Dah! Wound what the superhero costume would look like- probably be naked because never had the energy to make one.
