The problem IS that the docs who follow are the ones at ASBS. The cut 'n

run docs won't be there. It would knock you into next week to see how many

of us are done by any surgeon who CAN, even though he's not bariatric in

interest or specialty. The mechanics are fairly simple.

On my own insurance, all the docs I was referred to (in my area) are general

surgeons, not bariatric. Scary, huh? They can register with ASBS but they

doesn't make them specialists.

And there's nothing we can do about it.
