Well, I also question which of my cervices this baby will come through (I am

holding out lots of hope for vaginal delivery).

At my last appointment, my OB could actually see both of my cervices (the

secondary one usually hides). She says my main cervix " looks " pregnant, the

secondary one liiks small and " non-pregnant " . So, she figures the main

cervix will do its job, and the baby will go to the cervix that dilates. I

was concerned because when I had my first m/c, I had an emergency D & C and

the " main " cervix did not dilate while the secondary, hidden one did. The

OB didn't even know about this hidden cervix at that time and couldn't

figure out where the bleeding was coming from. But this time it looks like

the pregnant cervix will do its job when the time comes for birth. I know

how you feel about not being textbook - I feel like I'm winging it most of

the time!

SU resected, bicollis
