Guest guest
I may have missed some of the days. I am new to the group and have not gotten to know all yet. How long has your dad been a diabetic? Are you the person that buys the food. I agree that all of the bread needs to go and not come back in for a while at least till that HGBA!C is a lot lower than it is now. I know that it is a huge task and very stressful to help another person that sounds like they do not care what the results are and they eat what they want to. I know that is may only be day 8 but make him responsible for him self. Tell him if he does not care neither do you and walk away for a little while. Take a me day and breath a little for your self. If you get sick because you are so stressed out that will not help your dad any. Good luck Kim F. ..
Guest guest
Maybe he is a little bored with it all and when I get like that I go to recipe web sites and look for a goodie to make. A low carb goodie.Like a low carb custard made with coconut milk or a low carb cheese cake made with splenda..or something fun and different. That always seems to help a bit... sussie ----- Original Message ----- From: Eileen My dad has been a diabetic for fifteen years. I do the grocery shopping. If i don't get what he wants he complains all the time. I just am sick of listening to it. When his sugar is high he can be very cranky, well pretty much nasty.
