Guest guest
Welcome to the group Rose! Sorry to hear about your skin peeling problem. Maybe you should either the dermotologist or allergist. Eczema is allergy related so maybe you might be getting that. Just a suggestion though. Everyone in this group is very nice and supportive. Feel free to ask questions or even vent. Right now the group is a little slow, but one owner said it picks up in the fall and winter. warm hugs, Debbie J
Guest guest
Hi Rose, Yrs. ago when I was younger I had the same exact problem with my hands and feet that you are describing. I remember my mother taking me to the dr's and he put me on some kind of a pill and I remember having to go for blood tests for the liver function. They called it a fungus. Alot of people had told me to put a cream on at night before going to bed and wear white gloves. Well any way it has cleared up almost completely. At least my feet have. My hands still peel in certain places like my fingers. It doesn't bother me and at my age I don't have any one to impress. Sheila
Guest guest
Hi Rose. Sorry I didn't get to this sooner. I am going through a bought of peeling right now. I get these really tiny, itchy blisters on my fingers/hand joints and on the palm of my hand. They are always on the palm side down and wrap half way around my fingers. I can honestly say that I never had this problem until I had an allergic reaction to a medication. The allergic reaction was like 2 years ago and they say that it can't be what's causing it today. The allergist does say that it's another allergy though but he doesn't know to what. The only thing that I find is to keep them lotioned, wear moisture gloves at night, and when my blisters pop up and I can't stand the itching anymore I shock them with a dose of 30mg of prednisone which makes them dry up. It's the only thing that I can take when at work and not fall asleep. LOL. I hope this helps.
