Hi ,

I think they would count. Walking is walking whether you are moving or

staying in one spot. lol

As much as I get up and down during the day, I'm sure I take 10,000 steps a

day, maybe more.

I purchased a Pedometer about 2 weeks agio and it goes with me most days.

Around the house i am lucky to walk 21/2 kilometers. Am longing to try it on

the bowling green. The longest distance that I have been is11 Kms.I believe

that it is coming quite popular in Australia.

If you go to the search engine Google and type in " 10000steps " there is a

lot of info about pedometers.

From what I've read from people who do the 10K steps, /WATP steps

do count. Good thing, because I just got done doing 8000 steps of WATP.

:) Giving me over 10,000 for today (and it's not even over!) - and over

40K for the week! I walked 20 miles in the last 7 days!!! <doing the

happy dance> I am so excited to know that I can do it. I'm going to try

to get 10,000 at least 3 days next week, and then try for 10K all 7 days

the week after.

Do you have, or have you considered getting, a pedometer?
