I have a question that I know can be answered by some of us diabetics but for

someone that is not diabetic and has Neuropathy do you have any idea what could

cause it. My sister-in-law is about to go out of her mind with it. Her Dr has

run tests and she is not Diabetic, he gave her a prescription $99 for a bottle

and didn't help a bit. She cannot get in to see a neurologist until March the

11th (even on an emergency basis) sad but true. The Dr sent her a prescription

for Elivil (an antidepressant) and it helped a little which seems funny because

she is the most undepressed person I know of. Please if anyone know what could

cause this or anything she can do for it let me know either through the group or

on my regular e-mail. Thanks, Helen H

Hi Helen,

Has your sister in-law had a MRI? She could have a crushed nerve if she has

a disc problem. Ask her if she has had a MRI and if not she may want to ask

her doctor.

Good luck to your family.

No she hasn't she cannot get in to see a neurologist until March the 11th. I am

sure they will do tests then, right now the Elivil seems to be helping. Thanks,

Helen H
