Guest guest
Since I had the flu a couple of weeks ago I'm having the worst times with the roller coaster affect. I was very unhungry while having the flu, lost about 5lbs from not being able to tolerate the thought of food. I did eat a few cinnamon rolls while I was sick. I have found in the past if I indulge in sugary foods or overeat it takes several days to feel/have stable bs again. Now I'm on the ride. I get up in the morning and if I don't eat fairly quickly I'm on the low end and headed quickly. I'm also getting highs with foods that don't ordinarily spike so much. Maybe the ole body is still healing? Debi
Guest guest
Ditto for me. I had a terrible sinus infection and earache and hardly ate a thing for 3 weeks. I lost weight and didn't feel like doing anything at all. I lived on liquids. When I finally got hungry again I gained all of my weight back .....and more with it. Now my BG's are going crazy. Up and down, up and down! Grrrrrr. I still feel yukky. I can't take the flu shot because I'm allergic to eggs and my doctor said for me to stay out of crowds and if I heard or saw someone cough or sneeze I should run like the dickens.....THE OTHER WAY. Tootie (coughing and sneezing again and it's up in the 70's here in deep East Texas). > Since I had the flu a couple of weeks ago I'm having the worst times > with the roller coaster affect.
