Guest guest
Diabetes is not a one-size-fits-all condition. The numbers that are right for me might not be for you. I would suggest going to minimal carbs, then adding them back slowly. Test, test, test. First thing in the morning, last thing at night, and then two hours after each meal. Keep a little notebook of your results. Notice what foods elevate your BG. Those who say 'a carb is a carb is a carb' are wrong; different foods effect different people differently. You need to find out what bothers you. Re: TARA in Washington Thanks so much Deb:) I am covered right now by Workmans Comp as i fell, ruined my knee,Dr ruined it more & waiting for the new Dr to fix what he can.I have no medical insurance but am also on SSD so they have to have me stabalized before operating again...then for the healing after..... So for now i'm OK.... Then in 16 more months they will put me on Medicare insurance and a permanent disability for my knee...Malpractice,as well... If you would not mind i really need what i can & can not eat??? A quick overall. How many carbs a day? I'm guessing very few? How many fats? Unlimited proteins?? Someone following strict please tell me what you eat in one day??? Deb,that is SO SWEET! Yes,i'd LOVE that;))
