Guest guest Posted February 25, 2006 Report Share Posted February 25, 2006 I borrowed my sisters TENS unit (Transcutaneous Nerve Stimulation) today and I am very happy with the relief of pain that I received from this little gem. It's very much like the machine my Chiropractor uses except it's not quite as intense. I don't remember ever reading on this list if anyone has ever used the little portable unit, but I wanted to share my experience. I've been in an awful lot of back pain (not due to the Fibro) this week as I fell back in my office chair and landed on the floor. The muscles in my back have been so stiff and sore due to this stupid incident. I used the machine twice today and I have to say that I think it's worth the price to purchase one myself. I found them online for under $50.00. Just did a google search for TENS. If anyone has used these I would be interested in hearing your results.
