Guest guest
I took Doxepin for a few days and had numerous side effects -due to my fibro fog I can not remember what they were though they were listed as side effects I think. I hated it, but drugs do effect us all differently. I take Cymbalta in the a.m. for the pain and Trazadone at night to help with sleep, both with no problems. anyone ever take Doxepin Has anyone ever taken the antidepressant Doxepin, aka Sinequan? I want my doc to give it to me, since it treats itching which I have. Antidepressants are often given to fibro patients to help us sleep. Only answer this is you know about the med please. thanks, Debbie J
Guest guest
Thanks . I will keep that in mind. I only need the Doxepin for bedtime use anyway. Periodic itching keeps me awake all night. So does Cymbalta help with nerve pain? It's not on my insurance so I won't ask my doctor about it. Guest guest
Yes, I have taken the med. It has been a long time ago and I took it for depression not fibro. It did help with sleep, but not much with depression. So I ended up changing to a different medication. anyone ever take Doxepin Has anyone ever taken the antidepressant Doxepin, aka Sinequan? Guest guest
HI , Thanks for letting me know it does cause drowsiness. That's what I need it for. It is supposed to stop itching, too. Hopefully my doc will give it to me. Debbie J >
