Guest guest
I am so sorry about your loss, a bicorunate uterus does not usually lend itself to miscarriage, but we have many ladies who have been mis-diagnosed or were actually a combo of SU/BU. Hopefully, whoever you are seeing will want to do a lap as soon as possible, though they may want to wait a bit to allow your uterus to return to its non-pg state. I see primarily see Moutos, but I have seen once. Moutos has a wonderful understanding of MA's and their office staff is great. Actually, there wasn't much they could do with me as far as my MA goes...other than offer me a more realistic picture of my situation...which was much more positive than I had been told in the past. I have a didelphyc uterus, 2 cervices and a vaginal septum, and I have had everything short of a lap done to confirm my dx....u/s, IVP, HSG (2), and MRI. We were just about to start natural IUI in January when we conceived on our own. After 2 years of ttc, Moutos wanted to try several rounds of natural IUI and if we were still unsuccessful, do an exploratory lap, to ensure that nothing else was causing the problem. (all of my general IF testing came back fine, I ov on my own and DH's SA was normal). But, thankfully, that has all been put on hold...so far I am doing well with this pg (8w2d) it is implanted in a perfect spot...the top of the fundus in the right uterus (the bigger of the two). Best of luck...please keep us updated and let us know how things go. D UD
