When it rains it pours....

Do you ever feel like when it rains it pours. My family has been

worried about my sister-in-law's grandma for about a month now. Then

my fibro is acting up a little especially in my arms. It's making it

hard to do the required physical therapy exercises. This weekend I

was sick... at the lakes. Then I come with ovary pain... well, must

be getting ready to start. Then this weekend I find out that my

cousin in California was in an accident and everyone but me was

told. It was so bad that they have to pin his wrist and thumb. He

had compound fractures of his right leg and right arm. He

disclocated his left shoulder and elbow. He had internal bleeding.

His kidneys shut down because of the toxins his body released. He

endured 10 hours of surgeries before they flew him to Stanford. They

pieced his leg back together and the blood flow started returning to

his foot but then infection set in so they had to amputate his leg

above the knee. It's been just a horrible month. I just want to go

home, take a pain pill & a muscle relaxer, and go to bed with the

heating pad. But low and behold, the season premiere of Nip/Tuck,

House and Standoff are tonight, not to mention Big Brother. LOL. I

hate the phrase when it rains it pours. I think this family stress

and drama is making me feel worse. I pray for Brice to make it

through and come out in fairly good shape. He's in the Coast Guard

and someone from the Coast Guard has been there every day. The Coast

Guard is taking care of the financials for the family to come to

California to stay with him. They just paid for his sister and mom

to come from Arizona. They got them a hotel room and everything.

He's afraid that he'll be kicked out now from the Coast Guard. They

said that he won't be able to deep sea dive or go out on the boat

anymore but they are trying to find him another place to work that's

still with the Guard. Most of them would have automatically

discharged him. Oh, well. I hope that everyone else have been doing

well and had a great Labor Day. Mine definitely could have been a

little better.

Thanks,

Jayne
