Guest guest
Hi , First of all, congrats on a great appointment - love to hear that this babe is using as much space as possible and that your cervix is made of steel. Wow, that's pretty funny about the missing penis and scrotum. Not sure what to say, but now you can continue to test my dream theory of figuring out the gender! I know it's hard, but try to stop worrying about work. Keep doing it, keep hydrated, keep taking breathing breaks, keep your feet up when you can and soon enough the project will be over. As long as you're not physically exerting yourself than you shouldn't mentally exert yourself with worry (on top of stressing over the job itself). The other option is to do a half-ass job, which is really difficult for most women ;o) Just take it EXTRA easy when you're not working - time to lean on that husband some more. That's just my 2 cents. Take care and keep us posted! Mindy SU resected 20 weeks
Guest guest
, I'm happy to hear you have a referral to another peri - that should make you feel more confident. Sounds like your OB is fantastic. Nice about the cervix too. I was *so* worried about this during the 2nd trimester, and now at almost 29 weeks I am so happy to not have to think about that anymore - you are going to be over the worry for that very soon. 4.2 is a great measurement. A girl?!?! Maybe your instincts have been right all along - every time we tell someone we are having a boy, DH says - " unless that was the unbilical cord! " But I feel very strongly, and did before finding out, that this is a boy. Well, I guess you might not know until your little one is born. As for the placenta, sorry, no advice here. Hopefully the peri can give you some info. Great update! Guest guest
- Yeah! I am glad you don't have to go back to the yucky peri!....hopefully you will get your (insurance company's) moneys worth this time. Great cervical length! And it sounds like baby is doing well......as for the gender confusion....that could be a product of the yucky peri just not taking the time to really look or what else I don't know, but I am sure it is just an error on somebody's part.....I would wait for a few more u/s to before I ran out and bought pink or blue clothes. All I can say about your schedule is that if you have to keep going, turn the heat down....you have to make baby and your health first priority. You can do your job and do it well without stressing too much. I speak from experience....I am a reformed workaholic......for years I filled the void left from being childless with my job...I took on mammoth responsibilities and wouldn't let anyone help me...I worked horrible hours (well, I still work too many hours) and my life revolved around my job...I mean I ate, slept and drank it. But when we decided to ttc, I had a long talk with myself and since then (it didn't happen overnight) I have put lots of energy into leaving my job at work and realizing that even though doing it myself might be faster, other people are capable of assisiting. I am still on 24 hr call, but now when I have an issue on off hours, I simply take care of it and go about my business or go back to sleep....instead of spending hours worrying about things. I hope that helps, but know that I do understand your situation...just try to relax and give yourself a break. As for the placenta situation, I don't really have a good answer that you haven't already heard....since you are BU, there should be a good blood supply and it shouldn't be a worry. I am not surprised that your doc is holding out on the promise to attempt a breech vaginal delivery....I think that area is pretty sticky when complicated by an MA. Boy, you had a very productive appointment! UD
