Guest guest
Ok, so maybe the dr was right and I should pay more attention to my body.........lol. I discovered that this annoying little pain in my left heel has gotten pretty ugly and has been hangin around for more than a month now. Whenever I sit for more than a few minutes, when I get up I cannot put any weight on my left heel without feeling like I just recently walked on rocks barefoot. Even if I have shoes on, it becomes painful and awkward for a while. If I stand up all day my foot feels better, but the calf muscles get locked up and my back hurts from that. Any ideas? I have no idea what I might have done, it could be something really simple. After all, I still have a bruise on my right leg from last november!! Any thoughts would be welcome. Thank you. Guest guest
Sounds like plantar faciaitis (sp) to me. I had that a few years ago and it got worse and worse. When I got up in the mornings I had to hold on to furniture to walk for about the first 10 minutes. The podiatrist can put in injections in your foot and it will help. For me it only worked for a while, then he was talking about surgery. I did my own research and lost some weight and I haven't had it since. I wasn't that much over weight but evidently more weight than my foot could handle.
