Hope you have all had a nice Christmas...I have a little update to

pass on...

I have a septate uterus, and have been ttc for 2 years. I wrote

about a month ago when I was in a dilemma about whether I should

request a resection before attempting IVF. My specialist doctor

recommended that because I have unproven pregnancy results I should

start IVF rather than get the resection as I could have a normal

pregnancy.

Anyways, I accepted his recommendation and went for the IVF and I

tested positive on Christmas eve, which was the best Christmas gift

ever.

However it is very early days, I realise, and now I am concerned

about whether the embryo has implanted on the septum. Is this

possible? Does anyone have any idea how long an embryo can survive

if it has implanted on the septum? I will be able to go in for a

pregnancy scan next week to confirm where the embryo has implanted

but I was wondering if anyone else has any experience or thoughts on

how concerned I should be?

Thanks all,

That is so wonderful! I know how exciting it is because I just tested

positive the day after christmas. We will be on the same track!

Congratulations! I wish you a H and H 9 months!
