I spoke w/her husband last night at about 8:45 (they took her in very late) and she was mostly asleep but doing well. I will post on this site as I get updated! I would like to keep in touch and support you through your recovery. Thanks for the news about the enemas (lol). It seems incredible that they can do all this plumbing work and yet you can eat up until midnight the night before. It doesn't seem possible. What do they do with the food and stuff that's in your stomach and bowels??? Maybe I'm better off NOT knowing the answer to that!!! Wow--next Friday for you! I wish I could have scheduled it sooner, but there is no way I can take time off until January. I'm a psychotherapist and I want to finish treatment with some of my patients BEFORE surgery just in case I have any complications and need to take extra time off post-op. I can't do them a disservice, so I need a few months to get all my " ducks in a row. " I guess I have a few extra ducks (my patients). So, hopefully, soon, we'll both be doing the " HAPPY DANCE " . She sounds like she is having a hard time (she ended up having to be " opened " not Lap). But, she says each day is getting better! Thanks for asking! I did get email from her yesterday so you could try emailing her if you wish! I am getting over a stinkin' virus and so annoyed at the timing! I am praying to be better by Friday so they don't send me home. I would be devastated. So, I am thinking positive! I WILL be FINE!! Maybe its just supposed to be distracting me from worrying about the surgery...instead I am worrying about getting well. What do ya think?? LOL Take Care, Kjay PS..Forgive me, how are YOU??
