I have nasal polyps which can cause a lot of pain and pressure from inside

my nose-just what I need to go with my painful rosacea nose! I take evening

primrose oil as part of my vitamin regimen. I don't know if it alone helps

that much, but taking all of my vitamins certainly does. EPO is supposed to

help with flushing...

I don't have thinning hair, but I think I'm one of the youngest on the list

at 28, so it may be something I have to look forward to! I was having

serious problems with my hair matting when this first started, but the

combination of my vitamins and a really good conditioner (Vidal Sasson Deep

Moisturizing Conditioner) has taken care of it. In fact, with all of those

vitamins, my hair is probably healthier than it's ever been!

Cory: I have mild sinusitis...what a drag. Or should I say, oh, to breath

again. I haven't noticed a particular link with my rosacea, but will watch

for it now and let you know if I do. The best thing for the sinuses for me

is the saline wash - but I must admit I hate doing it.

Strange how none of us just have one problem. Instead, we all seem to have

a host. I think I was cheated when I went to the gene pool.

It's funny how evening primrose oil is suppose to help with flushing and

inflammation. When I took it a few years back, my breasts swelled to the point

where I couldn't move without pain. And anytime I take any oil with

Gamma-Linolenic Acid (contained in EPO) in it, such as borage seed oil and black

currant seed oil, my breast swell, although with these , it takes longer than

with the primrose oil. Must be an allergy.

Cory,

I just started using primrose oil--last night, when I received the mail

order. I had used it a couple of years ago--since I've tried so many

things, I can't say for sure if this is what caused my skin bumpies and

flaring to clear up; but I think it's worth a try. The only reason I quit

using it before, is that I ran out and never repurchased or reordered it.

Biotin -- so far as I know -- is a good one for people with eczema to

take. Folklore maybe, but my neighbor swears by a " biotin complex " she

takes for lousy hair and nails; she claims it helps. B vitamins are

supposed to be " good " for the skin.....

Hi Group!

Yep, I got sinuses too...have since childhood, when I was told by the

family doc that " you'll grow out of these allergies " Ha! They've gotten

worse.
