Guest guest
>> sooo. How can this be when the Doc. has seen a vaginal septum and a second cervix and I've been told that this means that I have an MA that is most likely UD. Does anyone have any ideas on how all of those ultrasounds say that I have a normal uterus with dimentions and everything? I am so confused!! Hi M, I had three pelvic US's (one each after two car accidents and another after a bilat kidney infect) that were very similar to yours. The mentioned that the uterus was normal and gave its dimensions. After discovering my vag septum, I went for an US where the tech actually told me " You know, vaginal septa are SO common ... I'm sure your uterus is normal. I don't know why you are wasting our time getting this test done ... hey wait, look at that! " Needless to say, I have a weird uterus, initially dx'd as UD. I'm scheduled for an mri a week from saturday to evaluate my dx and will be following up with an RE to go over the results. I was also blown away that all those US techs could miss my uterine anomaly, but since I've been on this board have met a number of women with the same experience. The weirdest thing about it all is that in the actual report diagnosing me with UD, the radiologist wrote at the bottom " Uterus normal in size, x inches by y inches " . He'd JUST finished saying I have two uteri but then give me the dimensions of THE uterus. Grrrr. It stinks, the whole diagnostic mess. I'm glad we have this board to help educate us. Hope the new year brings you peace and a rock-solid diagnosis! 28, UD?
