Guest guest
I totally forgot to mention this in my excitement about Andre. Zoe (my 9 yr. old) was with us when we were at the convention and was across the room with my mom when we were talking to the Docs. Dr. M looked over at her and said " What about your daughter? Any signs of ACM or other problems? " I said " No, no signs of chiari.......but.....she's being sent to Children's Hosp. in Sept for a workup in Rhuematology because she's sick so much and her pediatrician can't figure it out, even though he's done the whole blood workup. " They asked what her symptoms are and I told them she has terrible pain episodes in her long bones, hips, eyes, and chest and she spikes fevers with no other symptoms. They all (docs and Marcy) looked at each other and Dr. M said, " I'll bet Marcy and I could tell you what it is, hmm Marcy? " She shook her head yes. So now I'm afraid my greatest fear since all this started may come true and Zoe will turn out to be a chiarian too. They said I should ask for MRI's for her too. Has anyone heard of those kinds of symptoms being connected to ACM? Much love, Traci ACM1, no surgery, hypothyroidism mom of Andre (15 yrs.), ACM1, cyst on brainstem, scoliosis _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
