Guest guest
I'm also a newbie just diagnosed three weeks ago and I'm nothing but angry and hopeless. Can't take the meds as I'm afraid of them I'm sick of being in pain and spinning all the time. I also have MS on top of it and don't know how long I can bear this. I joined to see if maybe someone can give me some help or just a big old shoulder. Big Hugs!!! Teddy http://clix.to/TeddysPlace
Guest guest
Welcome Teddy. Feel free to vent here. If we can't help, we will be a shoulder to cry on. Guest guest
Teddy - I've got really big shoulders, cry all you want! If you're afraid of meds, my only suggestion is to ask your doctor for some extra time to explain the meds to you in great detail, or maybe make an appointment with a naturopathic doctor who specializes in natural remedies. I know willow bark is supposed to be a natural pain killer, it is what asprin is made from, but I know nothing about how to dose it or any thing like that. If you need to vent, or cry, feel free. That's why we are here - we all have and we all do. That's part of having this darn disease and part of this group. Soft hugs to you, Pam
Guest guest
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I don't need a shoulder as bad as I need a punching bag. Did any of you feel that way? This last weekend was hell. Sunday night in the ER for a demerol shot, Mon in the ER dehydrated probably from the demerol shot. And today back at the Doc so he can try and talk me into new meds. I haven't even been able to come to grips with this yet and they are turning my life upside down. And then have the nerve to be upset because I'm too stressed out. Ever just want to knock on their heads and say hello? Anyone in there. I hope that everyone else had a great mothers day. Since I missed mine passed out on Demerol last nite my Dh and the kids went out and bought tons of balloons and flowers for me was so wonderful. Thanks again. Big Hugs!!! Guest guest
Pam, Thanks so much Hon for those wonderful hugs. I spoke to my shrink today and she said listen to your body and if you are okay with it then make the Doc's leave you alone. This is my disease and My body and they need to let me get over the shock before they go changing all my meds. Big Hugs!!!
