You've already had a consult with Dr. ? Maybe we can drive to Marietta together to see and . Do you know how long they expect to be in the hospital? That was one question that I forgot to ask. I have absolutely no idea if I'll get approved, or how long it will take. But it can't come fast enough. I just found this list about a month ago and it has been wonderful. I'm one of those people who has become obsessed with WLS. In fact I just got another AOL account for the rest of my family. (I haven't been sharing very well) Thank heavens I don't get billed according to usage!!! I know that is from NC, but what about ? Is she local? It would be really fun to meet everyone, it sounds like we're gonna end up going through this at about the same time (I hope) so we should be the nucleus of a really great support group. We'll have to depend on the " Old " post-ops from this list - since Dr. doesn't have many. Its truly amazing to me that just 6 weeks ago I thought I was alone in my quest for weight loss, and now I have this wonderful, supportive family from all around the world. I'm getting an approval or denial for insurance on Monday. I hope it will be approval, but I'm afraid to get my hopes up to high. I live just off Post Road and Hwy 5...we aren't that far apart. I have met all of that, but I know there is still a chance they will turn me down. You will hear me screaming if they do. I had my consult with Dr. the first of August. It has taken quite a while to get my LOMN and everything together, but my insurance company required the psych eval and nutritional consult before approval. I think that they will have to stay in the hospital about 4-5 days depending on how well each person does. It would be great to go meet and together. Have you seen Dr. yet?
