Guest guest
It sounds like Neuropathy which is quite common with Fibromyalgia. It can also be caused by uncontrolled diabetes. I take Neurontin for mine and it takes the edge off the pain very well. Penny UK > Hi everyone, > Can someone tell me if they have burning in their feet, ankles and > hands (wrists)? Years ago, after experiencing tingling in my legs, my doctor sent me for tests. It was discovered I had nerve damage in my legs and that it was probably from diabetes. Although I realize now that I was experiencing fibro symptoms way back then, there was no mention of it. Now that I'm once again having all these symptoms, boy do I have questions for my doctor when I go in this time! At least I was put on Neurontin but was only taking on a day. A while after that my dosage was increased to 3 a day (300mg each) but continued to take only one. Now I think I need all of them and have started taking them this week. I'm already seeing a difference in the pain. This list is really proving beneficial to me and I'm glad I joined.

Guest guest
Hi , I have pain in my toes and my heels and my ankles and they feel as if someone is stabbing them sometimes each part individually, it is awful. Last night my body burned so bad i did not want anything near it, no sheets or people just for me to put my hand or my thigh hurt. I have a small herniated disk in my back as well but had not had this pain until recently and am now getting hip pain when i walk. I am35 years old and i feel about 90. -------------- Original message -------------- Hi everyone, Can someone tell me if they have burning in their feet, ankles and hands (wrists)? On the feet, it is mainly under the toes and in the ankles as well. They feel like they are being seared, and there is a lot of pain with it. Do you have any suggestions to help this? I have bulging discs in the L4 and L5 are of the lower back, and am not sure if that is what it is from or not. Thanks for your help. Guest guest
I have pain like this in my hands and feet. Mostly the ends of my fingers and toes in the first joint. Is there any swelling associated with Neuropathy? One of my finger nails has a deep dip down in it and on the other hand the other finger nail is slightly bulging outwards. Guest guest
Hi Tina, Has anyone ever checked you for rheumatoid arthritis? That's a symptom of it. You may want to ask your rheum about it. Guest guest
Hi Debbie J, I have one doctor telling me that I have the beginings of RA and my regular doctor told me that my blood work didn't come out high enough to be listed as having arthritis. I think that I am going to pick up the blood work and have my Rheumatologist see it and confer with him. Hugs, Tina > > Hi Tina, > Has anyone ever checked you for rheumatoid arthritis? Guest guest
Hi Tina, Hopefully your rheumatologist can agree that you have RA. I belong to the RA-support group which also is a very good one. A few people there said they have sero-negative arthritis, which is negative blood work but all the symptoms. Good Luck, Debbie J > > Hi Debbie J, > I have one doctor telling me that I have the beginings of RA and my regular > doctor told me that my blood work didn't come out high enough to be listed > as having arthritis. Guest guest
I have the same pain in my feet and hands. I have had the blood test and it does not show anything. But, I know that I have it in my feet, ankles, toes, hands, wrist, and elbows. I hurt really bad there. Good luck! NC --------------------------------- All-new Yahoo! Guest guest
Pain in your feet & hands is a normal part of fibromyalgia. They are part of the tender points, not trigger points (which are different) Blessed Be, Ms.Katurah --------------------------------- Stay in the know. Pulse on the new Yahoo.com. Check it out.
