Guest guest
I asked my pharmacist about the weight gain while taking Lyrica and she looked it up and it says that it could increase one's appetite so I guess every one is different. I have gained 6 lbs. in the 5 weeks that I have been on it and now I am watching my calorie intake because I don't want to have to stop taking this med. because it has given me back so much more energy and I don't have the pain and I sleep all through the night as well. It has taken me yrs. suffering with this fibro pain and the brain fog to get to this point. I am only afraid that after I am on this med for a while that it will loose it affectivness and won't work as well. Sheila
Guest guest
Hi and welcome, My Neurontin definitely helps me but I know some people do get on better with Lyrica. Guest guest
I have been on Lyrica 6 weeks tomorrow. I wasn't able to take the neurontin because of the dizziness. I take 5-75mgs of Lyrica a day. I have personal choice, Blue Cross & Blue Sheild and so far haven't had any problems with getting it refilled. Guest guest
My insurance wouldn't approve it. I got the free trial RX, but didn't take the pills, as I wouldn't be able to get any more. I'm hoping one day they'll put it on the formulary list so I can give it a try & see if it works as well as the doc says they will. cyn At 05:17 PM 8/15/2006, rkhiani01 wrote: >Hi I am new to this website but I wanted to see if anyone else had any >problems trying to get their insurance to approve Lyrica. Guest guest
My insurance doesn't cover Lyrica or Cymbalta. If I need one of those I will ask my doc for a mail order one since it's cheaper. Non covered meds are $50. month. Debbie J > > My insurance wouldn't approve it. I got the free trial RX, but didn't > take the pills, as I wouldn't be able to get any more. Guest guest
I'm on Lyrica and Cymbalta both, but I first was able to get it thru my Family Clinic or Doctor's office. Now I have Medicare D and they pay for it. I'm sorry to hear you are having problems getting it. I have been on Neurtein and I like Lyrica better, because I don't have to take as much. Hope you can find some help so. Becky --------------------------------- Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. Make PC-to-Phone Calls to the US (and 30+ countries) for 2¢/min or less. Guest guest
Hello, I have been on a combination of Lyrica and Cymbalta for some time and it seems to take the edge off of the pain, but I still have daily pain and flareups. It definately helps make life more manageble. I've heard that for some people, it's really great and I hope it's that way for you Take care, Liketolaugh31@... wrote: Hello is anyone taking Lyrica? Guest guest
Hi! I was on Lyrica from Nov 05 until June 06 - It was a really big help for pain n my feet legs and hands. Was unable to get back to the doctor until yesterday due to insurance issues. I am going back on the Lyrica today. I could tell a big difference since aug. that i wasnt taking it. Not happy about being on 6 prescriptions - but thats better than the 8 I was on - and VERY happy to have the Lyrica back!! ~Kim In a message dated 11/19/2006 1:15:18 PM Eastern Standard Time, Liketolaugh31@... writes: Hello is anyone taking Lyrica? Guest guest
Well it's been a week and I have had little relief, by that could be weather-related. I am miserable when it rains. My dosage will double next Friday and I'll let you know Liketolaugh31@... wrote: Thank You, allisinplays@... Sandy
