Guest guest
HI all, I'm WM, 72, 255, 6'1 " Type II in general very good health. Recently I ordered a 30 day " free-trial or money back " weight loss patches. I gave them my bank debit card number and in a week I got a small packet of Lyproderm patches from Treehouse Marketing and put one on my stomach immediately. In six days my Bg jumped from an average of 120-175 to 520. I panicked and my doctor said " stop the patches, now " . I had no weight loss. ONly a week later I got a bill from a Monterey collection agency for $399.70 for a first of 12 months supply of the patches. All still well within the 30 days trial period. I immediately sent the remaining patches back, Insured, certified, return reciept req. and got the within the 30 day trial period.. I notified Bank of America who credited my account and then they charged me for it the second time on my debit card. Treehouse marketing has a long list of complaints of this and other of their activities. All bad news. My Bg is not yet back to the previous level. They could have and may have done some serious damage to me. I just feel I have to warn fellow heavy diabetics NOT to be taken by such ads and to check each weight loss advertisement for honest business practices. Please be careful. If anyone else has had any similar experience please post here. Thanks.
